miss joy ask ko lang po nabasa ko po kasi from the RA 9679 that 2% nga if employee is receiving a salary more than Php 1,500.00 but then there is a caption stating "the maximum monthly compensation to be used in computing employee and employer contributions shall not be more than five thousand pesos (Php 5,000)" thus it mean ceiling pa rin ang Php 100 (2% x 5000) contribution each employee and employer kahit an employee is receiving more than 5,000 na monthly compensation? just confused. Thanks

Hello jdelacruz,

In the payscript you are using, SSS, SSSER (Employer share), PHIC and PHICER (Employer share) are all based on the SSS/PhilHealth Tables.

On the other hand, HDMF and HDMFER are either 1% or 2% of regular pay. 2% is used when regular pay is 5000 or more.
